MOTTO:

Run with patience the race that is set before you.

Self-published author/illustration designer of 18 culturally and linguistically diverse early readers, and educational children's story books in a 26-book series. My professional working background includes web designer, model/actress, and for the last 4 years educator (English As A Second Language).

I have experience working with students both in America and abroad. Grades k-12. I am well versed in mathematics grades k-6 and Language Arts, English comprehension, and fluency k-12. Teaching abroad in another culture taught me patience, resilience, and how to think outside of the box adapting to each child's learning needs (preference). To aid in comprehension and learning that is fun and most importantly effective.

TEACHING STYLE

Phonics to balance literacy in step with the Science of Reading (blends, digraphs,

r-controlled vowels, vowel teams, and glued sounds) Kinesics, TPR, and critical thinking (The Socratic Method). Utilizing phonetically focused children’s books and teaching to enrich each child's life. My method is to combine learning with artistic expression. Helping the students make connections and feel like they own everything we are learning about.

My students, even early learners, also learn about cooperation, accountability, time management, goal-setting, and perseverance skills they can carry with them through the entirety of their life.

Appreciating all God-ordained opportunities to steward my gifts, talents, and abilities.
